The 2011 Waterloo Airshow is in town and on Friday I went by the airport and got some shots of the different training runs for the Saturday and Sunday show.  My husband and I are going to the show on Sunday.  We have flight deck tickets which means I will be able to get up close and personal and get some great shots.  The following is a sample of some of my shots and I apologize in advance for the vinegetting on some of the pictures- I believe I have a problem with the hood for my lens.  Hope you enjoy and check back in for some more shots.

Canadian Skyhawks

Harrod's was unbelievable.  I have never been in a department store like this ever.  The decor, the inventory, THE PRICES- INCONCEIVABLE. I could have spent the whole day browsing but my husband was there and we were on a strict timeline and I didn't want to waste time in store.  But one of these days.................

When I go back (and I will) I will have to spend more time and not be to chicken to go to the higher levels in the store, the higher you went up in the store the higher the prices went up.

Big Ben at Twilight

As you know I was recently in England, so for the next little while I am going to share images from this trip.  It was just so fantastic and I wish I was back there, however I am glad that I am not right now due to the recent rioting.  I was desperate to get some night shots but did not have my tripod so I was very scared that the results would not be good.  Most did not turn out but I got a few decent ones so it was not a total wash.

For my first post - Sharing an image of the Priory of Holy Island

My husband and I recently returned from a trip to England.  I am looking forward to sharing my many images with everyone. This image is of the Priory and church of Holy Island.  You can only reach Holy Island when the tide is out.  We spent several hours here and I took a lot of amazing pictures.  Stay tuned.
